microphone seleCtion i think works great here (vintage 1971 u87, multiple tube mics, aea ribbon pair and many others for the drums and things.
MANY vintage ELECTRIC AND ACOUSTIC OPTIONS EXIST, AND IM A LOVER OF MINI SYNTHS, SO LOTS OF THAT ACTION
I record using Logic X through universal audio Apollo coverters. I use lots of the amazing universal audio plugins & also love the soundtoys and plugin alliance products out there.
I mix everything through a NEVE 8816 summing mixer, which perfectly melds the digital and analog worlds in my mind.
